Anti-UV

"Among all the fishing clothes, prioritize in summer or on trips the anti-UV clothes which are equipment specially designed to protect fishermen from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. These clothes offer an effective barrier against the harmful effects of the sun while ensuring comfort and functionality. They have protection against harmful UV rays, thus helping to prevent sunburn, premature aging of the skin and the risks of skin cancer. There is often a Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicated with such clothes: a UPF of 50 or + is highly recommended for optimal protection, particularly for prolonged exposure to the sun. These clothes are also breathable and allow efficient sweat evacuation to maintain comfort. This goes hand in hand with a quick drying to stay at ease, especially when in contact with water.

Here are different pieces of clothing concerned:

T shirt and Anti-UV shirts : Light and long-sleeved, they offer maximum coverage of the arms and torso.
Anti-UV Sleeves / sleeves : Anti UV sleeves to complement a t-shirt for example.
Anti-UV neck gaiter : In addition to protecting the neck and nape, they can most often be raised to also protect the face from the sun.
Anti-UV gloves : Protect the hands while allowing easy handling of fishing gear."
