In vertical fishing, this range of heads allows the lure to be held horizontally during a pause a few centimetres from the bottom, an attractive position for predators.
The flat surface of the underside of the 'Digger' head slows the lure's descent and amplifies the action of the body.
The head naturally rests on the bottom and keeps the lure's body slightly lifted, preserving and its presentation during a pause. In addition, the hook positioned upwards gives better results during strikes.
