The swivel 100% French quality! Jean Barraud, the founder of JB was a jeweler fisherman who invented a snap swivel to prevent his line from twisting. Requests from affluent fishermen and the JB company was thus born in Jaligny in the Allier in 1931. These swivels have been copied many times since but have never reached the quality of French production. Made with high quality steel, these are made one by one by hand on a series of small mechanical machines with unique know-how. Each batch is tested for opening resistance to ensure total reliability.
