Bait Rocket Mini SPOMB. Alternative to the classic Spomb for more discreet baiting, or so it can be used with a standard carp rod or a feeder rod.
In many ways this product is an improvement over all other spods :
1/ Amazing distance thanks to the aerodynamics of the teardrop shape. This is certainly the ultimate product for flight with minimal drag.
2/ Instant and complete release on contact with the water
3/ Ultra-fast retrieval. Once open, the SPOMB glides effortlessly across the water surface, without line twist and even in strong winds.
4/ No bait loss once the Spomb is closed and during the entire cast. All baits that fit in the Spomb can be thrown, including: pellets, boilies, hempseed, corn, groundbait mix, bread, meat, maggots, worms and all particles, etc. No binder (mix or groundbait) is needed; all baits can be loaded into the Spomb.
5/ High accuracy : the wind has very little effect on its flight thanks to the aerodynamics and the fins. Even with a strong crosswind, its accuracy and distance are remarkable.
6/ The button can be removed for cleaning, and rotating it 180 degrees provides a stronger lock in extreme weather conditions.
- Attach the SPOMB to your line as a spod - Hold the Spomb with the logo facing up. Press the button, hold the Spomb open with your thumb - Do not fill the section containing the button - Fill with your baits and squeeze the Spomb to close it - Cast. - Store your Spombs closed with a rubber band near the "nose" or in the open position. - Available in white to avoid retaining too much heat in full sun.
Frequently Asked Questions :
- Does the Spomb have to land on its button in the water ? No, not with a heavy load. If you use lighter baits such as bread or groundbait mix, it is better to fill near the "nose" first
-Do I have to cast hard ? No, not if you have kept the original standard locking.
- When should I turn the red round button for a stronger lock? The red locking button is set by default for average fishing conditions. Turn the button for fishing in extreme weather conditions such as strong winds, heat or very powerful casts.
- What if it doesn't open ? Make sure the red button is set for a standard opening, especially if you want to cast gently. Then just cast again.
- Can I use wet baits? Yes, as long as you only fill the area behind the button. Nothing will be able to pass into the button section except liquids, which does not prevent it from opening.
- Can the Spomb work with a line clip? Yes. For best results lower your rod as soon as your line reaches the clip.
