« Wright & McGill Eagle Claw is considered the most innovative fishing hook manufacturing company in the world and is the only hook manufacturer in the United States. They are very proud of both a 90-year heritage of experience and, at the same time, are constantly on the lookout for the best innovations to improve their products and thus meet the needs of anglers around the world. They manufacture and distribute premium hooks in more than 40 countries.

The Lazer Trokar range was introduced by the company in 2009 and was presented as the world's first hooks created with the Surgically Sharpened Technology concept. These patents are based on the same technology as certain medical supplies (the height of innovation!). At first glance you will notice that the triangular-shaped point leaves nothing to chance when the hook must penetrate on the strike. Tests have shown that depending on the hooks studied a weight between 140 and 100 grams was required for a point to penetrate a given material, whereas it only takes 60 grams for the point of a Tro Kar hook to penetrate.

You can immediately see the practical application for carp fishing, by either using a lower-weight lead, or by keeping the same lead weight but with greater penetration power. Fishing with TROKAR hooks will give you confidence in your gear and losing a fish will be only an old memory...

The shape of the TK 883 is ideal for your braid or combi rig setups.
