Like rods, landing nets can be a very personal choice. Aesthetics, function and price always influence most anglers' decisions when buying a new piece of fishing kit. We were inspired by a classic design from the past. Available in the early 80s in a shop in north London, Dons of Edmonton. Their springbow was a brown fibreglass landing net, fitted with a heavy and unique stainless steel spreader tube, but that said, it was the landing net of the time and the only serious choice for the regular carp angler back then! The current fashion seems to be for very thin handles, similar to or matching anglers' rods. We went completely against that trend. For performance it was incredibly important that the arms and the pole had strong stiffness. By having a pole of very small diameter you increase the weight because you have to increase wall thickness, and thin-diameter handles are simply harder to hold. A larger diameter handle increases stiffness, is easier to use and more comfortable to hold. We can use a thinner wall section without having to compromise on strength or weight. Our model has a 6' handle which tapers from 23 to 18mm.

Made from ultra-light, high-performance carbon fibre, with a superb satin black finish. With a beautifully turned 316 stainless steel tip at the end. This allowed us to create a net so light that once assembled and in use it sits perfectly on the water surface without the need for a float. One of the key points of the design was to create an ""original"" block. Something extremely light, very strong and unique in appearance. From concept to production we updated the design four times over a period of about two and a half years. The final version is stunning to look at. Designed by our friends at jag, it is incredibly light, but above all very easy to use and assemble. When you present the arms to the block you will notice it has a slight oval shape inside; we machined the block so it has what we call an attack edge. This creates extra space for the arm when it is flexed and pushed into place. The arms exit the block at the perfect 91-degree angle which, combined with using the stiffest arms we could manufacture without compromising assembly, gives a really charming shape. Each arm has an oversized rounded machined anodised aluminium end, designed not to pass through the net and damage it. This part holds the thick green cord between the arms, with zero stretch and a perfect curve, which keeps the whole thing as tight as possible and helps reduce drag when pushed into the water. The aluminium block is machined on the front and rear faces (you can see the arms inside). This feature further reduces weight and gives the whole set a definite style. We added a small slot on the front face which can accommodate a 15 mm isotope (not included) and engraved the spring bow logo on the back. The finishing touch was to spray the block in a wear-resistant gun smoke ceramic finish.

We manufactured three versions, 42"" 46"" and 50"", each supplied with a medium-depth hexmesh net. The net section is deep enough, the arms being sufficiently away from the water to hold and prevent any carp from escaping! All nets come in a very durable korda dark kamo cover which features separate pockets for the handle and the arms. "

The spring bow landing net has many features that set it apart from other landing nets.
One of them is the termination of its handle with a 316 stainless steel tip.
So why, you may ask? Well, it is specifically for this reason that we also made a very deep net with rigid, dense mesh.
When you have landed a fish, it sometimes takes a few minutes to prepare the unhooking mat, your camera, something to keep the fish wet and something to weigh it if needed. To avoid unnecessary handling, you can stick the handle into the bank while leaving the fish at the bottom of the deep landing net.
Every unnecessary handling of a fish increases the risk of accidents. This approach therefore allows each angler to increase their vigilance and thus preserve the fish in good health.
Bonus: being able to stick your landing net into the bank is also very handy when it comes to drying your net before several hours on the road. The net is therefore fully unfolded "in the wind" and dries much faster.

Deep version, perfect for pontoons.
