The organic fiber blanks of the « X10 » series incorporate natural-origin materials such as plant fibers (cellulose microfibrils), offering these rods surprisingly high vibration damping and shock absorption performance. This new type of material exhibits a tensile strength that surpasses fiberglass in terms of strength while being much lighter. Megabass thus offers a series of rods with a particularly soft action without compromising on weight. Finally, the "Project X10" team aimed for sustainable manufacturing and the use of natural materials contributes to reducing CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering so far, it is the most durable and functional material. The F9-710XT has a "regular" action that will be perfect for using large hard-swimbaits such as the magdraft 8' and 10', the Balam 300 or the Jointed claw Magnum to target record pike and black bass.
