silent like an arrow that cuts through the air, the darter u-float passes almost unnoticed in the current by creating tiny displacements of water in front of the bait. stefan seuß developed the darter u-float especially for waters and fishing conditions that are complicated where catfish are very wary and ignore floats that are too bulky or that generate too much turbulence. the darter u-float is designed like the tip of an arrow, a slim body with 4 convex wings (curved outwards), it easily penetrates the water, even in strong currents, allowing flow around the u-float's body without creating noticeable turbulence. the wings act like a keel and make the bait oscillate enticingly in their wake.
