Latest member of the Balam family, the Variant 255 stands out for its flexible silicone lip which allows it to dive more easily: it can naturally descend to almost 2m on long, steady retrieves without needing to add additional weights as with the other Balams. Like the other Balams, it moves fairly quickly to trigger reflex strikes but also copes with speed changes and adapts very well to pauses of varying lengths.
