advice for converting your lure to a single hook

we usually say you should go up one size to switch to a single inline. for example: a lure fitted with a treble in size 4 will require a single in size 2.

general guidelines:
lure 45-65mm = single hook 10 and 8
lure 65mm - 80mm = single hook 6 and 4
lure 80mm-100mm = single hook 4 and 2
lure 100mm - 120mm = single hook 2 and 1/0
