The BIG BACKER JIG is a «Casting Jig» specifically developed with a center of gravity placed toward the rear to facilitate casting distances and easily reach well-marked spots or chases. Its compact pear-shaped body favors very wide slow or fast actions. It endures phases of rapid horizontal retrieves that perfectly imitate a fleeing fish, provoking attacks from marine predators such as sea bass, pollack, mackerel, bonito, Spanish mackerel, tassergals,... Its flanks are cut to accentuate its movements, and the combination of colors and the shimmer of its holographic coating provide a more attractive reflection. These qualities make the BIG BACKER JIG a very versatile ‘Casting Jig’ for boat-based cast-and-retrieve fishing in marine currents, for ‘Vertical Jigging’ style fishing or from the shore ‘shore jigging’. The BIG BACKER JIG is equipped with a head Assist Hook fitted with a holographic foil and a treble hook at the tail.
