the sv 45 is an articulated jighead fitted with an offset hook. it is mainly used for slow, bottom-scraping fishing over snaggy bottoms when paired with small soft plastics. this articulation between the weight and the hook has the advantage of making the rig more lively when the angler drops his lure on the bottom and lets it rest. it also allows better penetration into aquatic vegetation than an in-line rig would. finally, the hook's clip attachment system allows you, if you wish, to replace your hook with a model of a different size or shape to adapt very quickly to your preferences or to the mood of the fish.
