Designed to mimic the vulnerability that prompts fish to strike, the CHUCKY! faithfully reproduces a small injured fish. The action of its tail suggests that of a weakened, injured, or frightened fish. Its deep "ribs" or ventral slits have two functions: first, they allow better hook placement, reducing unnecessary jerks of the lure and stabilizing the point. Second, they allow the body to bend and undulate easily, providing a much more natural swim, even when fishing vertically.
