The Reidmar Mid GTX shoes are made of leather, but only weigh 640 grams each. With a normal width, they have a half-high shaft of 20 cm. Thanks to the UTURN lacing system, just turn the knob to tighten them, then turn it the other way to loosen them. This lacing system comes with a warranty: if, against all odds, the system or the laces broke, you can have them replaced at one of our authorized retailers.
The Reidmar Mid GTX shoes are equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX Sierra membrane. During its manufacturing, each of our membranes is tested in a pool to guarantee its waterproofness. Furthermore, 5% of the shoes we manufacture are subjected to a 30-minute centrifuge test to ensure that the quality of their membrane is as high as possible.
These shoes combine an oiled nubuck upper and high-quality semi-rigid Vibram® Campus soles, ensuring good grip on the ground. They also have a shock-absorbing midsole, to stay comfortable even during long walks on very rough terrain. They are reinforced with very resistant material at the toes and heel, where wear is usually the greatest.
