Aequilibrium ST GTX is the lightweight technical hiking shoe suited for via ferratas, trekking, glacier crossings and mixed terrain. Maximum comfort thanks to the gusseted tongue and the flexible snow gaiter on the collar. Exceptional walking performance due to the innovative construction of the Double Heell™ heel: the pronounced dual rear cleat geometry enhances the braking effect on descents and allows for a smoother roll to reduce muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness combine in this new sole/insole set with an external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam for enhanced lightness and cushioning thanks to minimal use of rubber layers. The ergonomic, enveloping and precise shape incorporates TPU shells at the toe and heel for upper reinforcement. The directional 3D Flex System Evo™ joint with profiled ankle and anti-abrasion protection allows for better heel support and perfect ankle mobility. The lace protection gaiter on the toe prevents friction. The insole is semi-crampon compatible, and the outsole Vibram® SpringLug Tech is equipped with Impact Brake System cleats for better adaptability to the hard rock surfaces.
