The 580 concept:
Costa Del Mar's patented polarising lenses and "580TM" polycarbonate block yellow light spectrums that approach 580TM nanometers. Indeed, yellow spectrums are the most tiring for the eyes. They also limit the blue spectrum to reduce the 'blurry' sensation. Conversely, the 580TM increases the visual volume of red and green with the effect of improving contrasts and reducing visual fatigue, whatever the light conditions.

The LightWAVE 580G lens:
The LightWAVETM 580G lens is 20% thinner and 22% lighter than other lenses offered by our competitors. Almost scratch-resistant, the LightWAVETM lens will provide you with years of perfect vision, even under the roughest conditions of use. 100% polarising and 100% UV Block.

The C-WALL 580P polycarbonate :
The 580P polycarbonate is lighter than glass and virtually unbreakable. Even after a violent shock, the 580P polycarbonate will never crack. The C-WALLTM coating applied to the 580P polycarbonate lenses increases scratch resistance, repels water, grease (especially from fingers) and dust. 100% polarising and 100% UV Block.

Co-injected frames:
Costa frames are made with extremely strong and durable TR-90 nylon. The TM-90 nylon is co-injected with the HydroliteTM coating. This hypoallergenic silicone provides great comfort and keeps the glasses from slipping, even in hot and humid weather.
