The fixed VHF GX1800G by Standard Horizon is equipped with a GPS for your safety. It is compatible with an optional remote handset to use the vhf on a second helm station.

The fixed VHF GX1800G by Standard Horizon is the indispensable tool for safe sea navigation.

It has all the features to send or receive calls in high quality.

It is equipped with a 66-channel GPS to ensure the DSC function when the Distress button is activated. Of course, different types of scanning are programmable: priority scan and dual watch.

COMPATIBLE NMEA 0183
The fixed VHF is compatible with the NMEA 0183 standard for data transfer. Thus, thanks to the NMEA input/output it is possible to connect a compatible autopilot.

INTEGRATED GPS RECEIVER AND DSC CLASS D
The fixed VHF includes a WAAS 66-channel GPS receiver integrated on the front panel of the radio. A location that allows you to recess your vhf into the dashboard while preserving GPS reception.
This function allows you to benefit from GPS features while complying with the new regulations in force since November 2018. View your navigation information (LAT/LON, SOG and COG) on the VHF screen.

DSC Class D built-in: whatever the channel used, this device is equipped with two receivers, one of which is dedicated to channel 70 so as not to miss any DSC Distress call (Digital Selective Calling).

ULTRA COMPACT AND EASY TO USE
This communication device will charm you with its ultra-thin, compact rear housing design with a depth of only 82 mm.

Its menu system has been designed so that you can quickly access all available settings and options in a few seconds. Interestingly, you can program up to 10 favorite channels!

Thanks to its day and night mode, you will be able to read the information on the screen.

COMPATIBLE NEW HANDSET RAM4
The handheld microphone, equipped with a noise suppression device, features shortcut keys to change channels, change transmission power 5W/25W and quick access to channel 16.

The fixed VHF GX1800G is also compatible with an optional wired remote handset, to control all functions of the main radio remotely.

An interesting feature to equip a second helm station on your sailboat or motorboat. In addition, you will have access to the Intercom function to communicate between the main radio and this second remote handset.
