The Ballistic LT 2017 is part of the new era of LT concept reels. Abbreviation for "Light and Tough", this concept literally means "Light and robust". Anglers are becoming more technical, increasingly eager for lightweight equipment. We use 8 strand braids, thinner, and Daiwa upsets its standards to accompany anglers in their quest for lightness and maximum pleasure.

The body of the reel is in Zaion carbon and the rotor in DS5 carbon. This lightweight reel is equipped with a Tough Digigear control wheel reviewed in its diameter and surgical helical teeth refined in thickness, shape and size.
