The TSUKUMO 66 is a ‘Lipless Crankbait’ that was specifically developed in Japan to fish for bass in shallow waters of estuaries or rocky coasts. Its bib located at the rear of its body is reversed to catch water and therefore forces it to rise toward the surface while not slowing it down, allowing it to reach long distances during strong casts. Its ease of use is mirrored by the vibrations themselves — they are intense! A revolutionary concept that gives the TSUKUMO 66 the possibility of being used in very shallow areas at depths of about « 1 m », where all vibration-type lures scrape the bottom. Very simple to use, it is animated by a slow retrieve or a fast retrieve. The faster the retrieval speed, the shallower the depth will be. By animating it with a sawtooth ‘lift-and-fall’ action, the TSUKUMO 66 rises quickly and descends slowly because of the resistance of its reversed bib. We therefore selected it for its strong potential to entice any predators in our European waters. Its abilities make it an essential lure for prospecting above large expanses of weed beds, where perch, black bass, zander and pike lie in wait to intercept their prey. A reaction lure that will no doubt seduce the asps of large rivers.
