translated into English the name sømmet means 'the nail' this elongated lure is one of the favourites among die-hard sea trout anglers in certain parts of scandinavia. it may look like a nail, but in the water it is a perfect imitation of sand eels- perhaps the most important prey of large sea trout in shallow water.

tip: pass your line through the lure while taking care to protect the connecting knot to the barrel swivel with a bead. we recommend attaching the hook using a split ring.
