The organic fiber blanks of the « X10 » series incorporate naturally derived materials such as plant fibers (cellulose microfibrils), giving these rods surprisingly high vibration damping and shock absorption performance. This new type of material has a tensile strength that surpasses fiberglass in terms of strength while being much lighter. Megabass thus offers a series of rods with a particularly soft action without compromising on weight. Finally, the Project X10 team has aimed for sustainable manufacturing, and the use of natural materials contributes to reducing CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering so far, it is the most durable and the most functional material. The F3 1/2-70XTS will be ideal for all fine, scraping-style finesse fishing, whether targeting perch, black bass, sea bass or zander. It will also be well suited to using small minnow lures and metal lures such as blades.
