The Technium AS rods for trout are specially designed to optimize fishing performance with small minnow lures and spoons. Ultra-light and very slim, the action of the Technium AS is semi-parabolic to improve casting and fight control when using light lines and barbless hooks.

The Technium AS can feel like a magic wand and come alive in your hands. Pair it with a small Shimano spinning reel in size 1000 or 2000 and you get a setup that will suit the best trout anglers practicing Area. You won't fail to notice the casting quality of the Technium AS, even when using spoons weighing less than one gram. But it's when you hook a trout that the rod truly shows its strengths, as it bends smoothly along its entire length, absorbing aggressive runs and headshakes thanks to its soft action.

The Full Carbon blanks of the Technium AS rod meet the expectations of demanding Area anglers. Lightweight, ultra-slim and with an excellent power reserve, the addition of Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology gives these four models the perfect backbone to cast ultra-light lures with precision and to bring spoons and micro-lures to life. To reinforce the quality of the design, the Technium AS uses Fuji KR-style guides with Fazlite coatings, which pair particularly well with ultra-thin braids. The ergonomic Shimano IPS reel seat was chosen for its comfort and sensitivity, and the cork handle completes the modern yet classic look. Available in four different models: two lengths and two different weights, to best meet your needs.
