The Kinetic Mackerel Catcher spinning combo is the ideal rod/reel set for fishing mackerel, cod, pollock and flatfish. The Fantastica reel features a sturdy graphite body and a lightweight graphite spool. The ball bearings are made of stainless steel and the braking system is multi-disk. The Fantastica Mackerel Catcher spinning rod is built on a solid 2-piece fiberglass blank with a great feel at the tip. The 3-leg SIC rings and the graphite reel seat are durable and corrosion resistant, with reinforced metal hoods. The comfortable EVA handle offers a good grip in all weathers. The combo is supplied with a nylon monofilament on the spool.
