The new GARBOLINO OPTIMA BOMB TC rod is a compact telescopic rod-type product. This type of rod is used mainly for pond trout fishing; but also in mountain lakes where their reduced packed size is certainly useful. This rod has a carbon blank with short sections, that is to say the guides are located at the ends of the sections, and there are sliding guides only on the tip.

The use of short sections in a rod improves strength and allows a more compact folding. This rod available in 4m20 and 6 sections, has a very slim handle with a non-slip grip and a metal rack reel seat. The guides with reinforced frames are slightly detached from the blank, but too much to allow the line to work well along the rod. The reel seat has been positioned to allow both effective casting and comfortable holding of the rod in the fishing position.

With a collapsed length of 90cm this rod is easy to transport in a car boot or even on a backpack and its storage in your garage will not pose any problem either. The tip cover provided for the protection and alignment of the guides, is also useful when storing at the end of a fishing session to properly channel the line and avoid pinching it between the sections.
