Vertical stand-up fishing – power and control with sinkers up to 400 g

The POWERSTAND combo is designed for sea stand-up fishing, a vertical technique that requires short, powerful and balanced gear. It is aimed at anglers practicing deep or drift fishing, using heavily weighted rigs up to 400 g.

The PowerStand rod, in a 1+1-piece configuration, has a compact length of 1,80 m which promotes control of the rig and immediate transmission of bites. Its high power allows the use of very large sinkers to keep the line vertical in strong currents or at great depths.

The Oxean 20 reel, mounted on this combo, is perfectly suited to heavy vertical fishing. It offers power, mechanical reliability and a large line capacity, while being treated to resist the saline environment.
