the aero xr is a technically advanced match and feeder reel containing all the attributes required by top-level competition anglers. it features an anti-reverse, a lightweight ci4+ body and rotor and advanced hagane gearing for unparalleled performance. if you are a competition angler, or if you fish with a float or a feeder, and you want a reel that matches your abilities, the aero xr is the solution.

all reels balance perfectly with the best shimano aero x5, x7 and pro match and feeder rods, giving you an enviable combination that provides a competitive advantage.
with their super-smooth sealed drags, and an additional anti-reverse device, you can control fish directly with the drag when using stronger lines, by winding in when using fine lines, or by using a combination of both.

the smallest 3000 size is perfect for all short-range float and feeder fishing, the mid 4000 size is ideal for larger float fishing or medium-range feeder fishing and the largest 5000 size is ideal for longer feeder fishing or heavy medium-range feeder fishing. with a g-free ci4+ body and rotor, all models are remarkably light, the 4000 size weighing just 250 g, which represents a notable reduction compared with competing models of the same size.

an additional advantage you can feel is the precision of the light rotation, which is the result of the ci4+ rotor construction and the hagane gear, x-ship, silent drive technologies.
