the delkim safe-d carbon snag bars are a 2011 novelty from the delkim brand. the snag bars have been custom-designed for delkim bite detectors; they can be fitted to all the brand's past and present detectors.
they are necessary when you fish with the drag tight and/or when the line forms a very large angle at the tip ring of your rod. the snag bar will prevent your rod from coming out of the detector in the event of a violent run. this small accessory can thus save a rod, a reel and a fish!

- made of tubular carbon fiber, with a stainless steel upper protective cap
- total length of one bar: approximately 11 cm
- the carbon holding bars are fitted onto the specially designed new battery hatch (supplied)
- the 2 bars can remain permanently on the detector without preventing the protective shell from sliding.
- it is possible to remove the carbon bars with a single gesture, either for transport or when only one is necessary (side fishing)
- no part is added to the detector's thread. this snag-bar is thus perfectly compatible with all other delkim accessories, for example the individual tx transmitter, the d-lock support, as well as swingers or central alarms from all other brands.

very simple installation :
1/ remove your original hatch
2/ screw in the new supplied hatch (2 screws supplied)
3/ add one or two bars according to your need

the packaging contains what is necessary to equip a detector :
- 2 carbon holding bars
- 1 suitable battery hatch
- 2 screws for the battery hatch
