The DSS1 bedchair features a high-tech foam mattress that is firm and very comfortable, mounted on a lightweight steel frame. Our field testing revealed that certain elements of the bedchair's bases detract from the angler's comfort while sleeping. We therefore took particular care to ensure there are no superfluous plastic parts. The bedchair rests on 6 adjustable legs fitted with bases designed to resist sinking into mud. The bed includes a two-layer sleeping bag with a zip closure, made of soft polyester.
