For all sensitivity levels (with the exception of the highest), the line must travel the specified distance in the same direction for at least 2 seconds in order to activate the alarm. Any movement in the opposite direction resets the distance counter to zero. This can drastically reduce, even eliminate, all false bites triggered by water or wind movement.
