The Mivardi Base Camp XXL shelter is an extra-large, robust and perfectly stable model, designed down to the smallest detail, yet quick and easy to set up. But it offers much more than generous space, doors and windows. At its heart is an exceptionally stable structure consisting of twin poles connected by tension bars fitted with sturdy clips at their ends. These considerably reinforce the structure and reduce pole flex. Two of these tension bars are fitted with handy rod holders with Velcro straps. All the main sections of the structure are telescopic and feature a reliable system for easy adjustment.
The telescopic sections also allow for compact transport and ensure the shelter can be set up and taken down quickly and easily. In extreme conditions, stability can be increased further by using four guy ropes. The shelter can easily be set up or taken down by one person.

The M-TEC300 outer fabric, with its hexagonal texture and increased mechanical durability, offers a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm from the 2026 model onwards. The rear wall has a large window fitted with a mosquito mesh and a nylon cover, providing micro-ventilation via the tension bar at the bottom of the window.

The front wall consists of an entrance panel with a large window fitted with mosquito mesh, a transparent PVC panel and a nylon cover. This letterbox-style front panel can be opened to the side and rolled up in the usual way, or partially unzipped and opened gradually from top to bottom. There is a large porch at the front of the shelter, with its own fibreglass frame. When unfolded, it is supported by two poles and secured with guy ropes. The porch can be folded back completely along the front wall of the shelter without needing to be dismantled. Its specially designed attachment to the main shelter effectively prevents water from collecting on the roof, even in heavy rain. The shelter's side walls are fitted with large opening windows with nylon covers and mosquito mesh, which also provide micro-ventilation. These letterbox-style side panels can be partially opened or completely removed. The bivvy connection kit, available separately, is a unique and innovative feature of the Mivardi Base Camp.
This system comprises two universal side connectors that attach to the Base Camp shelter in place of the removable side panels. These connectors make it easy to attach almost any bivvy bag or brolly to the Base Camp shelter. Other accessories available separately include a set of four internal hanging organisers or a heavy-duty groundsheet.

The shelter is supplied in a carry bag that is large enough to make storage easy when packed away. This 600D nylon bag is waterproof, washable and extremely durable.
