The Blade Shaker is a vibrating blade that we developed in collaboration with Uli Beyer. Uli has been successfully using this type of lure, which allows incredibly long casts, for more than 30 years. Together, we have now designed a lead-free blade that meets 100% of Uli's requirements. It is truly child's play to handle. In principle, a simple retrieve is all that is needed. The speed can vary depending on the location and the season. Fast speed jigging in open water can also prove effective. However, avoid classic jigging along the bottom, as the Blade Shaker simply works better under tension. If you want to fish close to the bottom, you can nevertheless let the lure “sink” to the bottom while applying slight tension during the “sinking phase,” varying the retrieve speed. But even when worked close to the surface, the Blade Shaker is extremely effective. Its strong vibrations make predatory fish truly aggressive. We deliberately opted for a single treble hook. This allows you to present the Blade Shaker very close to the bottom, which can prove highly effective. Due to its fairly vertical position in the water, the nose of the Blade Shaker can repeatedly hit stones or stir up sand, which also drives many predatory fish crazy. The body also practically serves as a spacer between the treble hook and the bottom. A second treble hook would only unnecessarily lead to numerous snags and, given the fairly small size of the lure, would not really help improve the catch rate. The Blade Shaker has 4 attachment eyes. When attached to the front eye, the lure vibrates only slightly. For example, you can use this front eye in very strong currents. The farther back you attach the Blade Shaker, the more strongly it vibrates. In calm waters, you can for example use the third eye (counting from the front). Feel free to test the different actions of the different eyes at your fishing spot. The 10-gram version of the Blade Shaker is a good lure for perch, zander, but also asp, trout and chub. The 15-gram version of the Blade Shaker is a good lure for perch, zander, but also asp, chub and pike. The 25-gram version of the Blade Shaker is a good lure for large perch, zander and asp.
