This board has been specifically designed for fishing octopuses. Thanks to the specific positioning of the weight, it always lands on the seabed with the points facing upwards, thus limiting snags. The central rod will perfectly hold bait in place (sardine, crab, chicken leg). From the shore, after casting, simply retrieve the little board slowly along the bottom. It is also possible to fish from a boat by taking advantage of a slow drift which will allow you to cover a lot of ground. Attracted by the bait and the white color of the board, the octopus wraps the whole in its tentacles. At the slightest resistance, the four sharp, very sturdy spikes will penetrate deeply into the octopus's flesh and allow you to haul it forcefully out of its hideout. Simple and terribly effective! For more success, the rig can be fitted with a red and white cloth placed 20 - 30 cm from the little board.
