The bombette was initially created by Italians for lake trout fishing. Since then, its use has expanded and it is found along lake shores, in rivers or by the sea.
Its aerodynamic shape allows for long-distance casting of all kinds of natural bait but also small-size lures such as mini swimming fish, small spoons, small soft lures, ...
The semi-sinking bombette will sink slowly when stationary and rise upon retrieval. By varying the action, you can explore the entire water column up to 1.5 m deep.
The junction between the mainline and the leader can be made with a chain of 3 swivels, which will ensure perfect rotation of the leader.
