Designed for use as the main line on your spodder rod, the Spod Braid is a braid that makes baiting easier, even at long range. With a breaking strength of 20 lb and an incredibly small diameter of only 0,16 mm, this braid allows you to propel a spod or a spomb as far as you can reach with your regular rods, and its good propulsion also lets you cast at shorter distances without too much effort. The Spod Braid is highly abrasion-resistant, an essential quality given how often it is cast, and it also has good knot strength.

However, to avoid breakages when casting, it is advisable to add a 30 lb Arma-Kord leader to it. Wetting the braid during use will also help prevent bird's nests at the rod guides. Its fluorescent green color not only makes the line easy to spot when you retrieve it, but also helps scare birds away from your swim (including seagulls) at the moment of casting, which is particularly useful during baiting. Each spool contains 300 m of Spod Braid, which will allow you to fill two reels if you do not spod at long range and you use backing on your spools.
