The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the new version of the original Kairiki, still made in Japan, but with an additional braiding technology called «VT construction Method». This PE braid is very strong and smooth, for longer casting distances. It is available from diameter 0,06mm to 0,42mm, with a maximum breaking strength of 46,7kg for the latter. It is ideal for all types of casting, in freshwater as well as at sea since it is very sensitive, smooth and quiet. Furthermore, in addition to the green (Mantis Green) and grey (Steel Grey) colors, it is now available in yellow (highly visible) and in multicolor (for deep-water fishing). The Kairiki 8 is finally a very good braid for Jigging because it benefits from low water resistance and an elasticity of less than 3%.
