This extremely supple stainless steel wire is the thinnest steel leader we have ever had in our hands. The Perch Wire 7x7 combines all the qualities one could expect from a pike-resistant leader for perch fishing. Its strength relative to its diameter is truly impressive. In addition to its dark, low-reflective color, our Perch Wire 7x7 holds the strands together remarkably well when you cut it (even without heating it beforehand). As it hardly frays at all, it is very easy to tie.
