The Wide Gape Long Shank was designed and developed with the aim of creating the ultimate modern carp hook, combining the key elements of several great classics and compatible with the vast majority of today’s rigs. We started from a long-shank hook, renowned for its solid hooking properties, but with a more progressive and wider curve, ensuring a rapid rotation of the point once the rig is sucked in, so that it ends up in an ideally aggressive position. Finally, the in-turned point ensures that the hook stays anchored once it has hooked, drastically reducing the risk of losing fish. Never before have all these elements been combined on the same hook, and the result is devastating. These hooks are particularly suited to Ronnie/Spinner rigs and are suitable for a multitude of dense or floating baits, in a wide variety of presentations.
