The Korda Krank has become synonymous with carp catches since Tom Dove conceived the concept in 2014. Showcased worldwide through programmes such as Monster Carp and countless episodes of Masterclass and Thinking Tackle, the formidable Krank X is now available in the Essentials range.

The Krank's unique shape features a very wide gape and a short, curved shank. However, the major difference with this hook lies in its off-centre point (offset), which greatly increases hooking potential. Used almost exclusively by Tom Dove and Neil Spooner on their Spinner Rig setups, this hook has been responsible for an impressive number of their catches in recent years.

Made from our gauge X steel wire, this version of the Krank X is extremely strong and durable, complemented by a discreet black nickel finish. This hook is perfectly suited to many inland fishing situations. The hook point is ultra-sharp and robust, allowing you in many situations to catch several fish with the same hook. We nevertheless recommend that you always check it after each catch and replace the hook if necessary.

Essentials Krank X hooks are available barbed or barbless, in sizes 2, 4, 6 and 8, with ten hooks per pack.
