The Scope OPS Retract and Scope OPS Sawn Off Retract landing nets bring a unique new innovation to the Scope range, combining exceptional portability with a new approach to temporarily retaining fish. While previous Scope landing nets featured telescopic handles to match the compact transport size of Scope rods, this latest generation takes mobility even further with retractable arms that considerably reduce the pack-down length without compromising performance or strength at the water's edge. At the heart of their design is an innovative fish-retention system. Once the fish has been safely netted, the handle can be secured in the ground using a Scope Butt Lock Peg (sold separately). The retractable arms can then be folded in and secured with the integrated Velcro strap, closing the net around the fish. This creates a secure temporary retention system, allowing the carp to rest undisturbed while you prepare your fish-care kit, organise the photo session or put a line back out. The aluminium spreader block has been redesigned and now features an external-fit arm attachment system ('overfit'), making assembly and dismantling quicker and easier than ever. Both models have lightweight 1K carbon handles with a telescopic twist-lock mechanism, allowing the handle to be securely locked at the required length. The Sawn Off Retract version also features a new quick-release slide-and-twist attachment system, making assembly even quicker than on previous Sawn Off models.
