Resolutely perfectionist, Evergreen decided to create, with the ARTISAN series, the ultimate trout rods for lure fishing. Aimed at small and medium rivers, these rods possess a decidedly classic style stemming from traditional Japanese artisanal know-how combined with the latest technologies. Composed of 3 different carbon weights, their blank has unique characteristics that combine surgical precision, elasticity and a power reserve. This achievement allows the use of a wide range of lures and the ability to control large fish without the hook coming loose. The ARTISAN rods were developed to reach the most inaccessible spots thanks to their maneuverability and exceptional casting capability. Designed as 3-piece rods for safe transport while hiking, they are available in three versions: two spinning models — AMSS-52 and AMSS-510 — as well as a casting model AMSC-410. Intended for BFS, the casting model is a lightweight, whip-like rod with a soft tip loaded with fiberglass to perform very technical casts such as the Flip Cast. The spinning models are offered in 2 lengths with equal power to suit different river sizes.
