Developed in collaboration with Boatside, specialists in big-bait fishing, the NXT BTSD Casting 400g redefines the standards for fishing with large lures.

Designed for anglers who make no compromises when it comes to targeting the biggest predators. This rod offers, thanks to its length, optimal leverage that allows heavy lures to be cast to impressive distances with minimal effort. Its Toray blank with “regular” action and progressive taper guarantees perfect energy transfer on the cast while retaining an excellent power reserve.

But length is not limited to casting distance. It plays a decisive role in the quality of hooksets with large-diameter hooks and ensures full control of powerful fish during the fight. When predators follow the lure close to the boat, the extra length allows the trajectory to be extended along the side of the boat, thereby significantly increasing the time spent in the strike zone.

The widened arc also optimizes the execution of the figure-8 maneuver, making it smoother, broader and more effective, while keeping the lure at a strategic distance from the boat.
