The Westin W3 Cat Stick 3rd is the ideal casting rod for catfish fishing from a kayak or float tube, and is perfectly designed for vertical fishing. Specially developed for active boat fishing techniques with artificial lures, as well as for «clonking» and drift fishing with worm and livebait rigs. The short Torayca® blank is perfect for tackling very large fish and allows you to use either baitcasting reels or suitably sized fixed-spool reels. What’s more, the rod’s two-piece design makes it easy and convenient to transport. The W3 Cat Stick 3rd offers excellent casting performance with artificial lures weighing between 50 g and 160 g, as well as outstanding lure presentation when vertical fishing with jig heads and vertical rigs up to 180 g. The lightweight, sensitive XH blank develops a parabolic curve under heavy load, providing exceptional power reserves during the fight, even against trophy-sized catfish. The W3 Cat Stick 3rd is the ideal partner for a size 300 baitcaster or a size 5000 or larger fixed-spool reel.
