the evo cats caused a sensation on the market even before their release. Most anglers still associate catfish rods with fairly heavy kit. However, the evo cat series now shows that this doesn't have to be the case at all. The guides on the Po have been using Japanese-brand rods for years, often costing more than €700. Since we work with the best factories and the rods of our guide friends still had room for improvement, we looked into it. The result is an unrivalled series of casting rods. The evo cats are lighter than some pike rods. They have a tip so sensitive that even lures weighing less than 20 grams can be cast with pinpoint accuracy. It's also worth stressing that it's easier to outwit wary catfish with small lures, but large lures are no problem for the evo cats. During the fight, you can feel the huge pulling power of an evo cat blank. In testing, fish up to 2.6 metres long were landed. Nevertheless, even with accidental catches, such as asp, you still have fun with these rods. We are convinced that more and more perch, zander and pike anglers will devote more time to catfish. The evo cats finally provide a lightweight but uncompromising catfish spinning rod.
