This is version 2 of the Bladebite Tungsten Blade Jig, now fitted with a thin but very durable metal blade, custom-designed to create an astonishing swimming action. The key to the BladeBite is vibration and action; when retrieved on the first cast or on the pause, the blade immediately bites into the water and begins to vibrate. A blade jig performs just as well in clear water as in stained water and is normally fished fairly high in the water column above weeds, timber and rocky structure, where the enticing action provokes predators to strike. In pressured waters, a bladed jig can make the difference between success and failure. We have also added a solid oval split ring to the front to attach directly to your fluorocarbon or to use with a steel leader. Feel free to experiment by adding any softbait as a trailer. Curltails, paddletails and creature baits work very well and swim beautifully.
