Custom depth color shading and bathymetric data overlays create navigation charts with unmatched accuracy and clarity, rendered with a variety of color themes to provide an electronic charting experience that goes far beyond any premium chart services that came before.

You can create your own user objects or update mapped user objects such as buoys, so that when they move from their previous charted positions they can be updated on the system on the fly. Custom objects can be shared with other TZ Maps users via the new TimeZero service, and can be turned on or off in the Layers menu, accessible with a simple upward swipe from the bottom of the screen.

Built-in Side-Scan CHIRP :
Furuno's built-in Side-Scan CHIRP on the NavNet TZtouchXL scans from port to starboard, drawing the shape of bottom structure in high definition. The Side-Scan CHIRP with a transducer center frequency of 230kHz or 445kHz reveals the shape of targets and fishing structures on each side of your vessel. Side-Scan CHIRP is integrated into the TZT10X/13X/16X, and can be displayed by any NavNet TZtouchXL on the network.

The NavNet TZtouchXL series has all the features anglers want, including exclusive and unprecedented functions. The TZT10X, TZT13X and TZT16X include a 1 kW TruEcho™ CHIRP or CW two-channel sonar and a Side-Scan CHIRP 230kHz or 455kHz to display fish and bottom structures in fine detail from port to starboard, providing crucial information for successful fishing trips. The image will also be available on the TZT22X and TZT24X when networked with the TZT10X, TZT13X and TZT16X.

Deep-water multibeam sonar :
Typical sonars have a beam angle of 40° or less. But with the DFF3D multibeam sonar, you’ll see a 120° swath, providing bottom coverage up to 3 times the water depth. Moreover, thanks to the power of the DFF3D, you can see fish directly under the boat at 300 m. The versatile operating modes of the DFF3D let you better understand fish movements relative to your vessel. The 3D history provides an intuitive, easy-to-understand 3D image of the seabed, along with icons for schools of fish — useful for selecting a fishing spot or assessing bottom condition. The triple-beam mode tells you not only depth but also direction (port/water column/starboard) of fish targets. The cross-section displays the water column echo in real time across a 120° swath, and the side-scan shows the shape and structure of targets to port and starboard.
