The Overnighter Yard sticks are a compact, lightweight version of our classic Yard Sticks, featuring night-visible top sections and a stealthy black finish. The sticks are supplied with a 12-foot (approx. 3.60m) cord allowing you to set them up quickly and easily on the bank. The cord has three colour markers enabling you to mark 3 different spots. The Yard Sticks feature a unique curve at the top which ensures the line releases in an easily controlled way.

• STEP 1. After finding a suitable spot with your marker rod, cast the lead of your line out to the spot.
• STEP 2. Put your mainline into the line-clip, then reel in until you reach the lead.
• STEP 3. Place the measuring sticks into the ground, using the supplied cord to make sure they are 12 feet (approx. 3.60m) apart.
• STEP 4. Make sure the curved parts of the sticks face outwards and wrap your line, starting from the rig, around the sticks.
• STEP 5. Keep minimal tension between the two sticks while winding, and count the number of turns you make.
• STEP 6. When you reach the line-clip, note the number of turns and place the colour guide on the cord at the distance of the tip of your rod.

Once you have counted the number of turns, you can now follow the same process with your other fishing rods and spod rods. This super-simple process is the best way to ensure you fish with pinpoint accuracy every time you cast.
