The A-Class Float rod range has been developed to offer anglers an affordable, reliable and extremely versatile selection of rods for modern float fishing. Covering 10’, 11’ and 12’ Pellet Waggler rods, as well as a dedicated 13’ Waggler for a more traditional approach, the range is designed to meet every situation, from short-range carp-fishery sessions to waggler and slider fishing at longer distances. Across the range the emphasis is on crisp casting performance, progressive actions when fighting fish and an easy-to-use balance that makes the A-Class family a top choice for leisure, club and competition anglers.

Built around 24/30T strength carbon blanks, the A-Class Float rods combine strength, responsiveness and low overall weight to deliver lively blanks at the cast while effectively damping headshakes during the fight. These performances are enhanced by new Anti-Tangle rings with stainless steel frames and fine aluminium oxide ceramic inserts, promoting smooth, consistent line flow for better casting accuracy and reduced friction. The range is fitted with a bottom-locking TVS reel seat with an EVA foregrip, an AA-grade cork Armlock handle and an exclusive Guru EVA rear grip, giving each rod a secure, comfortable and perfectly balanced feel.

What makes this range particularly attractive is that each model has been specifically tuned for a precise style of fishing. The shorter Pellet Waggler rods are compact, responsive and easy to handle on carp-fishery sessions, while the longer models extend casting distance and line control without losing that forgiving action during the fight. Completing the range, the 13’ Waggler is aimed squarely at anglers seeking a more traditional rod for lakes and rivers, with the versatility needed to fish both waggler and slider with confidence across a wide variety of situations.

The A-Class 10’ Pellet Waggler is the most compact rod in the range, designed for short-range fishing with classic waggler and pellet waggler rigs. Its short length makes it extremely easy to handle, allowing anglers to fish accurately at short range and to control fish effectively under the rod. It’s an excellent choice for small carp fisheries, fishing around islands, and for younger or less experienced anglers wanting to learn the waggler technique. Guru also positions it as a versatile rod for lakes, canals and small rivers, making it far more adaptable than its compact size might suggest.

The A-Class 11’ Pellet Waggler sits at the heart of the range and offers the best compromise between precision, fish control and casting versatility. It is ideal for anglers who want a rod capable of comfortably covering a wide variety of pellet waggler situations on carp-fishery waters, offering a little more range and line control than the 10’ model without sacrificing responsiveness. For many anglers, it is the true all-rounder of the range and the ideal choice for everyday pellet waggler use.

The A-Class 12’ Pellet Waggler is the longest and most powerful pellet waggler rod in the range, designed for situations requiring greater casting distance and increased control. Guru describes it as the ideal rod for waggler fishing on commercial waters when heavier floats and longer distances come into play. It is also well suited to river fishing for species such as chub and barbel with a stick float or a waggler, underlining the great versatility of this model. Despite its increased length and power, it retains the progressive action needed to fight fish smoothly and confidently.
