Skimmer floats are among the most popular in the Natural range, available in carbon stem or metal wire versions. Faced with their growing success, many anglers expressed the desire to have the same ultra-versatile body shape, but with a hollow plastic antenna. This is now a reality!
This new "hollow" version of the Skimmer floats, available in both stem types (carbon and wire), further broadens the possibilities of use with more bait types, in more conditions and situations.
The hollow antennas are highly visible in all light conditions, and offer increased buoyancy at the top of the float, allowing support for heavier baits such as pellets, corn or worms, particularly in windy weather or difficult conditions.
In winter, when light is low, the classic "dotted" tips can be difficult to see: a thicker hollow antenna literally shines in these conditions! • Sizes 0,5g to 2g : hollow antenna of 1,5 mm • Sizes 2,5g to 4g : hollow antenna of 1,7 mm
All current and new floats in the Natural range are designed to offer exceptional durability, thanks to the exclusive Elastilex coating.
This unique treatment protects against the elements and wear, including repeated rubbing of the line on the float body. It is a very thin elastic film that reinforces the whole and prevents damage, even during intensive fishing with many catches.
We have also chosen to use only high-quality balsa, which allows manufacturing floats with a compact body to reduce drag in the water.
Heavier than the foam often used, balsa also guarantees better stability, particularly in the rough conditions of natural waters.
All floats in the Natural range are developed, tested and used by our international champions and experts, including Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Andy Bennett and Frankie Gianoncelli, who actively participate in the constant evolution of this acclaimed series.
