the sleek mikey 160 is a three-piece articulated 'swimbait'. its shape and design, as well as the angle and size of its lip, give it a tight swimming action referred to as 'flag'. its lip allows slow retrieves and a perfect feel for its swimming. its feathered tail increases realism and brings the sleek mikey to life during pauses. these characteristics make it a go-to lure for targeting pike and other predators positioned along the edges, on weed flats, and around cluttered spots. its medium size is versatile for a swimbait and permits the use of a spinning or baitcasting rod in 'medium heavy'. several types of retrieves are possible: stop & go (near structures), continuous slow-to-moderate linear retrieves to efficiently prospect weed flats or parallel to the bank.
