the tricoroll gt 72 dr-f is the diving and floating version of the gt ‘gravity transfer’ series. the tricoroll gt models were specifically developed to optimize their mass transfer during your casts, so you’ll be less hindered by headwinds or crosswinds, allowing you to reach distant spots with greater ease and precision. moreover, the dr ‘deep runner’ model has a tungsten bead that optimizes casting distance and helps keep it longer in the water column during its ascent. the silhouette of the tricoroll gt 72 dr-f, the shape and size of its bill and its angle allow it to quickly reach maximum depth, making it attractive near the bottom ‘bottom taping’, while enabling it to flip when contacting an obstacle near spots where big trout hold. the volume of its body helps it move a lot of water and its flat sides promote flashes of light so trout can detect its presence from far away. its off-center action gives it random movements very similar to those of a fleeing prey or one feeding near the bottom, which will attract trout holding in holes or near rocky structures. its qualities make it a formidable weapon for fishing from the opposite bank 3/4 downstream in search of all salmonids and the asp in medium and large rivers, but also for sea bass from the shore.
